Guidance Department Services
The mission of the Guidance Department is to help students have a successful and enjoyable experience at the Cramer Elementary School. Counseling is a process of helping people by assisting them in making decisions for improving behavior.
Mrs. R. D. Brown our school counselor works with all students, staff, families and members of the community as an integral part of the educational program. Through small group and individual counseling sessions, the guidance department seeks to help each student find his/her best answer to coping with emotional, social, or academic problems.
Our Guidance department is also responsible for the security and implementation of the State and local assessment programs. The counselor provides support to our teaching teams in interpreting the results.
Cramer's school counseling department promotes school success through a focus on academic achievement, prevention and intervention activities, advocacy and social/emotional programs on a variety of levels.
